A 280 Character Slice
Time has gotten away from me today so I decided to capture my day Twitter style.
A day in 280 characters: First day of spring break. A first grade field trip to the Botanical Gardens with my daughter who attends a different district. Lunch with friends. Nap. Clean the house. Pick up kids. Head to Anheuser-Busch for a beer and food pairing dinner. Sleep well.

I imagine there were many sliceable moments within your day, but this was a great structure for capturing an overall sense of a fun-filled, busy day. Enjoy your break!
ReplyDeleteBrilliant structure to slice! Sounds like a great day to start off spring break! I think you could use twitter style all week! At the end of break it could be a Tweet Poem! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI love how you did it Twitter style- what a creative idea! Seems like you had a busy first day of Spring Break! Hope you enjoy the rest of your break : )
ReplyDeleteSometimes just the record of our day is it. I think of all the tired times and when I finally sit down to write and comment I feel better. Thanks for the "tweet!"
ReplyDeleteThis truly is a slice of your life! Sometimes just reflecting on the happenings of the day can be satisfying enough because you validate your daily progress when you put it in to words. I feel this way when I write out a list of things to do and cross them off! But tweeting them seems so much more convenient :)
ReplyDeleteI love the format of your slice! I love Twitter, but hadn't thought about creating a slice like a Tweet. You've inspired me!
